In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the man dressed in a cream kaftan was seen down on his knees in front of a lady dressed in African print.
Holding a ring, the man made his intentions known to the lady but she was reluctant to respond apparently fearing the reaction of the pastor.
Not long after, the pastor who was standing with the bride and groom who were wedding moved towards the guy and asked him to stop what he was doing.
"Don't do that she is my daughter. Don't do that please. I'm not aware of any engagement. Sorry, I hope I'm not embarrassing you but you have to meet me and tell me before," he shouted.
