Social media users were divided in their opinions after watching the video of the zip boat. While some think it is beautiful, others believe it is ugly.

Rachel Mitchell wrote:

"This is a cool design."

Rashad Meskienyar commented:

"Honestly and this is my opinion. It’s ridiculous. Why? Looks like a zipper. Very ugly."

Jamie Wright reacted:

"Yes it's beautiful. There is the saying open water and we are over 95% water. The waves are otherwise somewhat featureless but have great symmetry like snow."

Kirk Paterson wrote:

"I appreciate the concept, but the reality is a really rather pointless, soon to be forgotten attempt at aquatic art that will undoubtedly languish in a boat yard for the next 2 decades, quickly forgotten. Someone had way too much spare cash, at least the boatbuilders earned a buck."
