Princess Fathia, the granddaughter Dr Kwame Nkrumah, has celebrated Ghana's 64th Independence Day Anniversary.
Just like many other Ghanaians, Princess Fathia took to social media on Saturday, March 6, to mark the birthday of Ghana.
Taking to the photo-sharing app Instagram, Nkrumah's granddaughter released some stunning photos.

The photos sighted by YEN.com.gh have Princess Fathia wearing a purple and green kente with green beads and purple headgear to match.
In her caption to the photos, Princess Fathia remembered her grandfather and quoted his famous independence declaration statement
"Ghana @ 64 “The independence of Ghana is meaningless unless it is linked-up with the total liberation of the African Continent”- Kwame Nkrumah," she captioned the photos.
Later, Nkrumah's granddaughter share another set of photos saying:
"First frame is me celebrating the fact that our beloved country has been independent for 64 years.
Second and last frame is me watching neo-colonialism order our lives while many refuse to take the shackles off their minds."
Princess Fathia happens to be the daughter of Dr Sekou Nkrumah, the last child of Ghana's first president. Sekou Nkrumah named Princess Fathia after his mother, Fathia.
Meanwhile, former First Lady Lordina Mahama has turned 58 years old as Ghana celebrates the 64th Independence Day.
Her husband, John Mahama, celebrated with beautiful photos of them on social media in which Lordina blushed after he kissed her.
Accompanying the photos was a lovely birthday message from the former president.
In other news, actress Nana Ama McBrown and her husband have been spotted in a Ghana-themed photo.
The old photo which has the couple wearing outfits designed with Ghana flags have popped up on Independence Day.
Fans have been hailing McBrown and Maxwell after seeing the photo.
