MacBrown is to appear before the court presided over by Her Honour Evelyn Asamoah to testify in a case in which Lawrence Nana Asiamah[Bulldog] is standing trial.

The summons followed Macbrown’s refusal to cooperate with investigators and avail herself in court to testify.

She reportedly told the prosecutor in the case, Chief Inspector Simon Appiorsonu, that she would not be able to appear before the court to testify “no matter what.”

The judge then granted the prosecutor’s request for a subpoena to be issued on her, compelling her to be in court to testify.

Bulldog is being arraigned before the Circuit Court for reportedly threatening the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during an appearance on a UTV programme being hosted by Macbrown.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge of “offensive conduct, conducive to breaches of the peace.”

MacBrown’s testimony, according to the prosecutor, will be critical in helping the court fairly and impartially determine the matter before it.

Bulldog was admitted to bail in the sum of Ghs70,000 with three sureties, two of whom are to be public servants.

MacBrown is expected to appear before the court tomorrow, Friday, March 26, 2021.
