KNUST Accident: Nalerigu MP Loses Son In Final Year In Medical School

Nalerigu-Gambaga MP Alhaji Seidu Issifu Baba has reportedly lost his son who was a student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

The MP's son is reported to have passed away after being involved in a gory accident on campus which has been widely reported.

It will be recalled that a car crash happened at KNUST on Saturday, March 27, 2021, leaving two dead and three others seriously injured

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, the driver of a private saloon car was negotiating a sharp curve when he accidentally veered off and ran into a huge tree and killed the two students on the spot.

A report YEN.com.gh sighted on MyNewsGH.com indicated that it is one of the two students who died that happens to be the son of Alhaji Baba.

The deceased is said to have been in his final year as a medical student.

The report further stated that plans were being made by the NDC MP and his family o bury the young man in line with Islamic customs.

In other sad news, Abraham Tetteh, the National Ambulance Service (NAS) driver who lost his life in a robbery incident while on duty has been buried.

Tetteh was buried at Tsopoli Saglemi in the Greater Accra Region on Saturday, March 27, 2021, in an ambulance casket.

The burial comes almost two months after Tetteh suffered the unfortunate while transporting a woman in labour.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has held a burial ceremony for his wife Lady Julia Osei Tutu's late father, Stephen Asare Amaning.

The burial ceremony came off at Ahodwo-Daban in Kumasi on Saturday, March 27, 2021.

President Nana Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and other leading members of government joined Otumfuo to bury his father-in-law.
