A 22-year-old man arrested for stealing a motorbike stunned police officers when he willingly confessed to killing his wife.
The vicenarian identified as Isaac Larbi made the shocking disclosure at the Kwabenya Police where he is being held for theft.
Larbi said he killed his 20-year-old wife, Akosua Abigail from Onakwase in the Eastern Region following a misunderstanding.
He has since been haunted by the ghost of the deceased, Larbi stated.
The Police Public Relations Officer for the Eastern Region, Francis Gomado, said the body of the deceased had been retrieved following the confession.
“The suspect took the police to where he dumped his late wife and the body has since been deposited at the police hospital mortuary for preservation awaiting autopsy,” he told Joy News.

There has been massive public outcry since the grisly murder of the 33-year-old deceased identified as Yaw George.
Roadblocks were mounted on the town’s major thoroughfare by angry residents demanding justice for their maimed kindred. The irate residents also besieged the town’s police station over the heinous murder, sources close to the development told YEN.com.gh.
According to a report filed by Starrfm.com.gh, the 33-year-old deceased who was also lumber was shot Monday morning while driving a taxi with registration number GR 3847-21 and escorting a truck transporting his lumber.
The military officers, the outlet reported, were chasing the lumber truck and the taxi driver now deceased.
The officers opened fire through the back windshield of the car killing the 33-year-old instantly on approaching the Police barrier on Asamankese to Accra road.
“They shot him in the head,” Accra-based Starr FM quoted an eye witness as saying.
“They even abandoned him and were still pursuing the truck so it was the police officers who noticed the shooting incident and chased the military officers to report themselves to the Police,” the witness added.
Gomado confirmed the incident saying the media will be briefed after the preliminary investigation is completed.
