A young woman, Tina Makombe recently headed to Facebook to share her story with Varsity World. In the post, the graduate proudly celebrates getting her engineering degree. She also takes some out to thank God and her parents for the achievement.
"I am extremely proud to say I have officially graduated from Stellenbosch University with my Bachelor of Engineering in civil engineering! It has been an honour and privilege to gain knowledge and experience in this expertise of engineering in my undergraduate and I am pleased to announce that I am currently pursuing my Masters in Transportation Engineering at Stellenbosch University.
"First and foremost a lot of thanks goes to my Heavenly Father for blessing me with the talent and knowledge to not only graduate but continue to further my studies. I could not have done this without Him. Big thanks to my parents and especially my friends who were with me all the way throughout the journey and continue to be with this new chapter in life.
"Cheers to 2021 being a year of new beginnings and lots of blessings- Tina Makombe. MEng Candidate (Transportation Engineering) || Civil Engineering Graduate," the post reads.

"It seems like it was just yesterday that I told the Magistrate how nervous I was ahead of my first court appearance as a Candidate Attorney when I went to go introduce myself to her in chambers (pre-COVID) and now as I live breathe I can confidently say it with my chest that I am an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa." - Sihle Makhanya Attorney at Venns Attorneys," the post reads.
