She was granted bail by the court presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey.
Akuapem Poloo was slapped with a 90-days jail term for publishing obscene material and for undermining the dignity and integrity of her 7-year-old son.
Her lawyer, Andrew Vortia, appealed against the sentence describing it as harsh since she was a first-time offender.
The notice of appeal and application for bail was filed on Monday, April 19, 2021.
She was given a bail of GHc 80,000 with three sureties.
She has also been ordered to report to the police every two weeks and also deposit her passport at the court’s registry.
The court said she can only travel out of the country with the permission of the court.
