Ghanaian artiste, Wendy Shay, has shared a photo of a response from American artiste, T-Pain after he initially ignored her.

It is believed that the former had reached out to the latter in an attempt to work out a collaboration. The message went unanswered for weeks.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported Pain claiming that he had not seen messages sent to him on Instagram for several months.

Following this disclosure, it has emerged that the rapper finally responded to his messages and one of the people who got a response from him is Wendy Shay.

The singer took to Twitter to share news of the response she got from T-Pain while responding to people who made a mockery of her when news of her message to the American rapper broke.

"Oh Ghana dierr smh What is wrong if an Artiste dms an Artiste How do you think collabos come up?" writes Shay after she finally received a response from the America artiste.

"Didnt u guys see all these top American artiste there too? Do you know the DMs we dey get from top international artistes? Ghana wake up!"

Shay had a lot of support after she posted the photo.

"The Agenda boys wey dey talk say ebi broadcast message he sent give all n). Now u see say ebi diff. What is wrong when Artists DM Artist. Ebi so people too dey DM Wendy Shay and Medikal everyday. This no bi news self. Wey u people take am world cup like that. jons," wrote Seth Owusu.

"Very soon all our stars will travel out of this, country and never come back cos we don't appreciate our own, so so useless trolling to bring them down, gosh," wrote MDK Abena4Real.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported Ghanaian public figures, Shay, Medikal, and Juliet Ibrahim were left with eggs on their faces after private messages they sent to American rapper, T-Pain was shared online.

It is believed that Shay and Medikal were both trying to connect with the American star for music. It is unknown what the motivation for Ibrahim was.

"I swear!! I’m just now seeing all these messages and mentions TODAY!!!! How do I super apologise? Press conference? Townhall meeting? I’m dumb," reads a tweet posted by Pain.
