The boy had hurt his leg, and due to the restrictions on movement, public transport vehicles were unavailable.

A stranger saw the South African’s boy’s struggles and offered to carry him for 1km to his home.

On May 17, the boy finally got a chance to repay the kind stranger during his birthday. According to James Hall, the boy went to wish him a happy birthday bearing avocado gifts.

A seemingly excited James said the boy’s foot had healed, and he was walking fine. He termed the avocados the best gift he received.

“Remember last year I found a boy at hospital struggling to walk? No taxis, buses cox Covid lockdown, so I picked him up and carried him 1km uphill to his home, surprising myself by my fitness?
He came by with avocados today to wish me a happy birthday and walking fine! Best gift!” James Tweeted.
