TI and Tiny are under investigation after a woman claimed they drugged and sexually assaulted her back in 2005. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is reportedly looking into the allegations by the lady.
Authorities in Las Vegas reportedly said they have closed a similar case involving the US rapper and his wife. Police said the alleged incident falls outside the statute of limitations because it took place in 2010, and was just reported to the Las Vegas Metropolitan PD earlier this month.
According to a police report in possession of TMZ, the LA victim, identified as a Jane Doe, claims she met the musician and his bae sometime in early 2005 at a club. The accuser told the LAPD detectives she was then invited back to their hotel room.
She claims the celebrity couple asked her to go to the bathroom and take a shower with them. TMZ reports that the woman alleged that she blacked out soon after, but when she woke up the next morning her private part was sore and had a burning sensation.
It is reported that the couple's lawyer said they have not yet been contacted by the LAPD.
Social media users have shared mixed reactions to the allegations levelled against the popular couple.
"Leave those people alone."
"Not surprised! They're just a freaking couple with money."
"Wait, there are over 20 women who have made very serious claims against them. Do they not deserve to be heard and TI held accountable?"
"They are crazy if it is true."
"Off the hook means they paid off accusers, what a sleazy couple. Why even get married if you wanna be having all kinds of seedy activity in the marital bed?"
"TI used Tiny as bait and since she’s insecure she went along with it."
In other entertainment news, YEN.com.gh reported that a lawyer has called for an investigation into TI and his wife Tiny. Lawyer Tyrone A Blackburn wants authorities to start a probe into the popular US rapper and his wife after 11 women claimed that they were drugged or sexually assaulted by the celebrity couple.
Complex reported that although Blackburn has received notices of delivery, no formal investigation had been launched at the time.
TI took to social media and denied the allegations on behalf of himself and his wife. He posted a video on Instagram where he shared his side of the story. TI captioned the clip:
"No weapon formed against us shall prosper. We vehemently deny ALL these disgusting, anonymous allegations."
TI's peers in the entertainment industry and his fans took to his comment section to share their thoughts about the allegations. missmarto said:
"The truth will prevail!!!"
"He’s right about one thing for sure, something has to be done about people being able to say whatever they want, true or false, and it tears down someone else’s entire life BEFORE ever being proven."
"My thing is why are all of the accusers anonymous?"
