The friend said a short while after Akwasi had gone out to do what the caller advised, he heard a gunshot outside.

The gunshot, according to the friend, startled him and so he decided to go out to see what was happening.

However, just as he was ready to step out, he heard another gunshot, this time, closer to their room.

The friend is said to have managed to convey Akwasi to the hospital before informing his family members of the sad incident.

When the family got to the hospital, the young man had already died.

The father is alleged to have said that he was aware his son is into internet fraud, and that he is very much loved in the community because of his generosity.

The family is suspecting foul play in the whole matter and is asking the police to go deeper into their investigations.
