16-year-old fetish priest arrested with 3 minors over money rituals

News reaching YEN.com.gh indicates that three minors believed to be between the ages of 9 and 12 together with a self-acclaimed 16-year-old fetish priest are in the grips of the police after stealing money from their parents for rituals.
According to a report filed by StarrNews, the fetish priest told the three minors to bring any amount to be doubled as he did for others.
The children on several occasions stole their parents’ money, totaling GHc300, and gave it to the fetish priest to be doubled for them.
Unfortunately for the minors, they were subsequently caught by their parents and upon interrogation, they revealed that a spiritualist told them to bring the money for it to be doubled.
The parents reported the issue to the Awutu Breku Police command leading to their arrest.
The 16-year-old spiritualist has been remanded into Police custody.
The incident comes few months after a similar incident occurred at Kasoa where two teenagers killed a 10-year-old boy for money rituals.
In other news, a teacher of the Ghana National College in Cape Coast met her untimely death on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
31-year-old Sheila Afful lost her life after a vehicle that was being driven by a police officer run her over.
The driver, Lance Corporal Euodia Adu Gyamfi of the Twifo Praso police station, was driving a Toyota Corolla saloon car with registration number GG 3680-18 with one person on board.
In a report filed by Citnews, the vehicle which was descending from the administration block towards the main gate veered off its lane, crushed a tree, somersaulted, and ran her over.
The driver and the passenger together with the teacher were rushed to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for treatment, where Sheila Afful was pronounced dead on arrival.
