A Cameroonian pastor has gone viral over a video of him allegedly predicting TB Joshua's death.
In a video posted on May 4, 2021, the preacher who goes by Prophet Paul Me on social media said he saw Joshua being carried to heaven by angels.
“I am only saying what I saw. I will not say what I did not see. I was taken up to heaven. The windows of heaven were opened for me and I stood looking down at the earth," he preached.
According to Paul, while in heaven, he saw Joshua being carried by six angels.
Describing the alleged vision from God, Paul likened the swift manner in which the angels carried Joshua to a rocket.
“I saw six angels sent from heaven to carry TB Joshua. They picked him up from the earth like a rocket.
Three angels supported his right hand and the rest were on his left while Joshua carried a trophy,” he narrated.
Paul further claimed that he heard the voice of God instructing the angels to take the cup away from Joshua and hand it over to him.
“I saw a throne but could not see the face of the person sitting on it,” he said to his congregation.
According to Paul, Joshua was taken to heaven because he had finished his journey on earth.
“The Holy Spirit brought me down back to earth,” he said.
Joshua died on June 5, almost a month after Paul's video was uploaded on YouTube and will be buried on July 9 at his church in Lagos, Nigeria.
YEN.com.gh reported that a fire broke out on July 5 when members of Joshua’s church were attending his funeral service.
As the service was underway, the fire gutted a storehouse in the church’s premises at about 11pm.
The fire was attributed to an electrical fault.
