There are new celebrity mums in town as gospel singer Esther Smith and actress, Portia Asare welcome baby girls.

Actress  Portia Aidoo has and her pastor husband recently welcomed a bouncy baby girl. Portia is married to Rev. John Wilberforce Aidoo and they recently christened their baby girl. Portia Aidoo has acted in several movies and would be remembered more recently for her reprising role in Kwaw Anasah’s ‘The Good Old Days’.

Meanwhile gospel musician Esther Smith delivered a baby girl on October 23 in Neumustre Hamburg Germany. According to reports, this is her first daughter and fourth child.  A source told nkonkonsa.com that the singer is very excited because finally she has a daughter. “For Esther, this is a blessing because that is what she has being yearning for all this while”.

Esther who is currently based in Germany is married to Professor Peter Aluze-Ele of University of Lobourough Engineering School in the UK. Esther Smith already has three sons and now a daughter who has been christened Glendale Aluze-Ele.

Esther Smith will soon be in Ghana to kick-start Esther Smith Foundation. The foundation according to her is to help the needy, street children and orphans in the nation’s capital, Accra and Northern Region. Esther Smith will soon kick off her tour in Africa to minister to believers.
