On Saturday April 9, 2016, pictures and reports from controversial singer Kwaw Kese’s marriage went viral.
In what seems to be a private wedding between the two, the couple celebrated their union in grand style at Ursula Owusu’s private residence in East legon. Prior to the white wedding the traditional marriage was held in Kumasi on Thursday. Yen.com.gh brings you official pictures of Kwaw Kese’s white wedding. Saturday’s wedding was graced by a number of personalities in the entertainment industry, mostly the music fraternity. These include D Black, Tony Pun, Samini’s manager, 4×4’s Coded, P.Y Addo Boateng and Jay Ghartey. His manager, Kelvin Adisi, and younger brother, Buda were part of the ‘Yakubu’ rapper’s ‘entourage’.
In a report filed by livefm, Kwaw Kese is reported to have opened up about how his divorce from his first marriage affected him.
“The divorce I must say affected us. This is because, it is normal for two people who have been together for a long time to be affected with separation not to talk of divorce”, he reiterated.

Media reports indicate that Pokua helped Kwaw to get over the divorce and after starting off as friends. They took the relationship to the next level and as is said the rest is history. Kwaw’s wife is known as Pokua/Poks off her role in popular Ghanaian Television series, Efiewura. She also owns Poks Inn Waakye at East Legon and a Unisex Boutique.
Pictures of Kwaw Kese and Doris went viral after Doris helped plan Kwaw Kese’s surprise birthday last year. The singer himself had through last year posted pictures of Doris on his Instagram page addressing her as such. This is Kese’s second marriage after he divorced his first wife in 2014.
