Kennedy Agyapong has been penciled for an award, and YEN has the details
- Popular politician, Kennedy Agyapong set to receive an international award

Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Honourable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has been selected for a global dignity award, to be presented to him in New York on August 4, 2017 at the headquarters of the United Nations (UN).

According to a statement released by We Care for Humanity (WCH), Mr. Agyapong was chosen because he is one of the first individual Africans to contribute towards global humanitarian concerns, as well as his humanitarian works all over the world.
Founded in 2011 by Her Highness Princess Raden Dato'Seri Maria Amor Torres, a Filipino social activist based in Los Angeles, WCH is a non-profit organization, based in California.
It is an internationally renowned organization which focuses mainly on current global issues and concerns such as Education, World Peace, Wellness, Eradication of Poverty, Green Environment and Empowerment.

Her Excellency Maria, made the announcement, together with the former President of Ecuador, the former Prime Minister of Nepal and other representatives of WCH in West Africa in Accra on Tuesday morning.
In a response to the announcement, Mr Agyapong said: “I want to thank the team that has come here today to announce the award that will be given to me on August 4.”
