The family of the late Ghanaian TikToker Osanju Frimpong Elvis, popularly known as Osanju, has been sent into a state of mourning following his sudden demise.

On Monday, September 1, 2025, rumours of the content creator's demise emerged on social media. His close friend and fellow TikToker, Oheneba Jude, later confirmed the rumours with an emotional post on social media.

According to his family and friends, Osanju fell ill on Sunday night and was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment, where he passed away upon arrival.

The content creator passed away, five months after his mother, Veronica Frimpong, popularly known as Amonu, was laid to rest at a funeral service in January 2025.

Osanju's sister and uncle mourn his demise

Following Osanju's unfortunate demise, footage from his residence in the Ashanti Region of Ghana has emerged on social media.

In a TikTok video seen by YEN.com.gh, the elder sister of the late content creator, who wore an all-black outfit, broke down in tears as she mourned the demise of her brother at their home.

Osanju's uncle was also inconsolable and distraught as he shouted out his deceased nephew's name while sitting in the chair.

The sad scenes in the video evoked sadness among many netizens, who were left heartbroken by the TikToker's untimely demise.

TikToker Ama Yeboah's mother, Ama Pokuaa, popularly known as Obolo, recounted Osanju's final moments before his untimely passing.

She stated that the TikTok personality fell ill during the early hours of September 1, 2025, forcing neighbours to rush him to the Komfo Anoke Teaching Hospital.

Ama Yeboah's mother, Ama Pokuaa, noted that she could not believe it when she received the news that the viral content creator had passed away.
