Stationed at centre-back, Dr Ofori Sarpong calmly distributed the ball from the defence, showing composure and a good reading of the game. Far from simply standing out of the way, he was very much involved and dictated play from deep.
In two separate duels, the respected businessman came out on top, even producing a perfectly timed clearance that drew applause. His display suggested he understood not just boardroom strategies but also the finer details of football.

In related news, Ghanaian business magnate Osei Kwame Despite and his affluent pals created a commotion in East Legon with their fleet of luxury cars.
With his $3 million Bugatti Chiron, the chief executive officer of Despite Media led the fleet as they took over the busy streets of Accra.
He was followed by his close buddy, Dr. Ofori Sarpong, and other members of the East Legon Executive Fitness Club in their fancy cars, including Rolls-Royces and G Wagons.
