Former priestess turned preacher, Nana Agradaa, was jailed for fifteen years by an Accra Circuit Court after being convicted of fraud and charlatanic advertisements.

Agradaa was arrested in 2022 following the airing of an advertisement on television and radio during which she falsely claimed to possess spiritual powers capable of doubling money.

Many visited her church with money, hoping for it to be doubled, but left empty-handed.

Agradaa Ba Gyemeso said the church is located in a waterlogged area, which can lead to puddles of water forming after rain, but it is in a clean condition.

"This place is not a refuse dump. This place is totally clean and a nice and conducive environment. Watch it very well, oh God, we even have a huge standby (power) plant located on the facility. Oh my God," he said.
