A private screening was held for the movie The Fisherman, by the Director Zoey Martinson, in Accra at the Silverbird Cinemas.
Veteran actors Ricky Adelayitor and Fred Amugi, media personality Sally Mann, dancer Endurance Grand, and comedians Jeneral Ntatia and Oh Joo all attended the event.
Kwame Nkrumah’s granddaughter steals show at premiere
Princess Fathia Nkrumah, the granddaughter of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, caused a stir at the event as she appeared in an eye-catching get-up.
She wore a long, flowing turquoise kimono-style robe adorned with bold floral prints and a fitted black inner piece.
Her enchanting look was accentuated with a delicate gold necklace and bold gold earrings.
Princess Fathia arrived smiling from ear to ear and made a splash on the red carpet as she posed with the legendary actor Ricky Adelayitor.
Fathia’s effortless beauty and grace grabbed online attention, with many Ghanaians praising her looks, style, and affable personality.

Princess Fathia Nkrumah is an actress, model, television presenter, and writer.
She is the daughter of Dr Sekou Nkrumah, the last son of Ghana’s first president and his Egyptian wife, Princess Fathia.
Her credits include critically acclaimed shows Living With Trisha, Shampaign, Dede, and Little Problems.
She studied acting at the prestigious Identity School of Acting (IDSA), founded in London, and also holds a Law degree from Lancaster University and The Open University.
Princess Fathia Nkrumah honours grandfather's legacy
Despite not venturing into politics like her grandfather, Princess Fathia has often honoured her grandfather's legacy and contribution to Ghana's independence.
On Ghana's Independence Day in 2024, Princess Fathia visited the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum in Accra to pay tribute to her grandfather.

She shared photos of her trip on social media and noted how it had deeply moved her.
In her caption, Fathia shared a call to action for Ghana to move forward on the path set forth by her grandfather.
"As we mark the 67th year of Ghana’s independence from colonial rule, many of us remain unsure of our nation’s fate. May we find the passion and urgency in our hearts to work towards safeguarding a brighter future. Let us not forget the words of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah and the true values upon which this nation was built," she wrote.
