Ghanaian man of God, Isaac Owusu Bempah’s prophecy concerning the death of Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka has resurfaced following his passing.

Apostle Safo, the founder of the Kristo Asafo Church, also known as the Christ Reformed Church, reportedly passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

His death was announced in a statement released by his daughter, former Member of Parliament (MP) for Dome Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, on September 14.

"With profound sorrow and deepest grief, the Safo Family and the Kristo Asafo Church announce the peaceful passing of Ghana’s beloved man of God, the greatest technological icon, philanthropist, agriculturalist, and industrialist popularly referred to as 'Kantanka, the African Star’” the statement read.

“Apostle Safo was a true genius, the beacon of hope for many, a father to the fatherless. Ghana has indeed lost a gallant son and a true legend,” it added.

Owusu Bempah’s prophecy on Apostle Safo resurfaces

Following the death of the popular Kristo Asafo founder, a prophecy by Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah, also known as the Nation’s prophet, has resurfaced.

During the December 31, 2024, sermon delivered by the man of God, when he gave his list of 2025 occurrences prophecies, Bempah foretold the death of a world-renowned Ghanaian preacher.

Owusu Bempah said the impact of the death on the Ghanaian populace would be huge, considering the stature of the personality involved.

“A powerful religious leader who is also a prominent person with fame in Ghana and beyond would pass away this year. This would happen unless certain directions are followed.” Owusu Bempah said.

Amoako Attah's prophecy on Apostle Safo resurfaces

Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that Ghanaian man of God, Apostle Amoako Attah, foretold Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka's death.

In a viral video taken from the August 31, 2025, sermon at his church, the founder and leader of the Parliament Chapel International said that God had informed him of the imminent demise of the Kristo Asafo founder.
