American R&B singer Mark Althavan Andrews, known professionally as Sisqó, grabbed attention on social media after attempting to perform the Ghanaian dance ‘Adowa’.

Sisqo touched down at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra on September 25, ahead of a concert scheduled for September 27.

According to reports, he is billed to headline the Rhythm and Brunch Ghana event at the Accra Polo Club.

Sisqo dances Adowa at Kotoka airport

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh, the legendary singer was seen on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport, where he was welcomed by a traditional dancer as per custom.

As the dancer performed the iconic adowa dance, Sisqo also attempted to dance along.

He awkwardly tried a few Adowa moves before switching to his own dance.

Ghanaians on social media reacted with excitement to the video, with many sharing nostalgic memories of their experience with Sisqo’s legendary hits in the 1990s and 2000s.

In another video seen by YEN.com.gh, the legendary singer was spotted leaving the airport in a large convoy of vehicles.

The convoy of V8 vehicles drove through the streets of Accra as he headed to his base ahead of his upcoming performance.
