In a surprising turn of events, the Western Region’s representative in this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) competition, Owubah, along with Naawere from the Upper West Region, were evicted from the show.
Their elimination marks them as the fourth and fifth contestants to leave the prestigious pageant, leaving fans and supporters in a frenzy of discontent on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

Naawere slays in a stylish gown
Naawere, a strikingly beautiful lady with a profound appreciation for her cultural heritage, showcased the rich fashion traditions of Upper West Ghana during her presentation.

She wore a stylish puff-sleeved Northern kente long-sleeve top, coupled with a matching skirt, that highlighted the intricate patterns representing the Sissala, Dagaaba, and Wala peoples.
The beauty queen's look was beautifully complemented by a carefully styled gele headwrap adorned with shimmering embellishments, as well as glittering earrings that harmonised with the rhinestones in her ensemble.
In a captivating moment, Naawere introduced male models to the stage, who turned heads with their dapper tailored ensembles and stylish long boots, adding to the vibrant display of fashion.

Owubah turns heads with her stylish gown
Meanwhile, Owubah commanded attention with her radiant presence in a colourful strapless gown that flowed elegantly with her every move.
She paired the gown with black platform shoes, enhancing her stature and adding a striking contrast to her outfit.
Owubah looked classy with her choice of a gorgeous Afro hairstyle, further accentuating her regal appearance, evoking the essence of an African goddess as she confidently sashayed down the runway.

The event also saw TV3 presenter Cookie Tee, whose real name is Shirley Emma Tibilla, stealing the spotlight with her fashionable yet traditional attire.
