In the video posted on TikTok by @lollideecakesnevents, the man of God told the masquerades categorically that they would go to hell unless they repented.

Nigerian man arrests his masquerade

In a related story, YEN.com.gh reported that a guy from Nigeria 'arrested' a masquerade and wouldn't let it go after admitting he was the owner. The man said in a video that was uploaded to TikTok by @innocentukeje103 that he was the one who led the masquerade along the street. In the video, he was furious as he demanded the masquerade's earnings.

The guy claimed that as the true owner of the masquerade, he was entitled to share in the profits. He claimed to have purchased the outfit. The masked man remained stubborn, refusing to give over any money and continued to threaten the man.

Mild drama emerged as the man grabbed on the costume firmly and wouldn't let go, despite pleas from the audience. The masquerade was still dressed in its mask and attire. From behind the mask, a voice cautioned the man to avoid it.
