Her tweet went viral and attracted thousands of admirers who were amazed by her remarkable achievement, which is very uncommon in this era of digital distractions.

Many people praised her for her dedication, curiosity, and love for reading, and some even expressed their interest in doing same next year.

Her tweet also inspired many people to pick up a book and enjoy the wonders of reading.

In a conversation with Legit.ng, Ezioma Kalu, another young lady from Nigeria who read 122 books in 2023, spoke briefly about her love for love books.

She said:

“I love reading because I get to travel around the world and live many lives. Reading saved me, and is still saving me. Reading fiction has opened my eyes to the world, and I learn so much about human existence. Storytelling is the only evidence that we were here. How can you say you lived without having a story? And how can you live without knowing other people's stories?”
