Elvis Frimpong, popularly known as Osanju, died on September 1, 2025, after falling ill in his room.
His landlady found him in critical condition and rushed him to the Mount Sinai Hospital for onward transfer to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, but tragically did not make it.
Osanju's death occurred seven months after his mother, Veronica Frimpong, popularly known as Amonu, also passed away.

Osanju’s landlady speaks on spiritual encounter
In a video seen by YEN.com.gh on the TikTok page Koforidua Flowers on Friday, September 5, 2025, Osanju’s landlady, who was the last person to see him before he died, narrated an alleged encounter she had with him.
According to her, she had a dream in which she met Osanju and spoke with him about his death.
She claimed that when she saw Osanju, she asked him where he had been because everyone believed that he had died.

Osanju’s landlady said his spirit denied being dead and went to his room with her, where he gave her a piece of paper to be delivered to his father.
She said she looked down at the paper and saw that it was blank, but when she raised her head to ask Osanju why he had given her a blank message, she woke up.

Osanju's grandmother warns doom prophets
Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that Osanju's grandmother warned Ghanaian pastors to cease from sharing doom prophecies about his demise.
In an interview with Kumasi-based blogger Ahodwo TV, she called out the prophets engaging in such conduct for being insensitive to the grieving family.
