A budding Ghanaian content creator, popularly known on TikTok as Fake Dbee, has reacted to the passing of Pascaline Acheampong, a student of Namong SHS.

In a now-viral video captioned "I am not Pascaline's boyfriend, we are just friends," the boy, who looked sad, took exception to claims that he was having an affair with the 17-year-old SHS student.

Setting the record straight, the boy, who is also a senior high school student, maintained that he was just a friend of Pascaline and not her lover.

In a bid to prove his claim, he stated he only came to know the teenager in August through TikTok, after which they became friends and began talking.

He said the last conversation centred on certain posts Pascaline had made on her WhatsApp, seeming to suggest that all was not well.

As a caring friend, he reached out, wanting to find out what the issue was.

"She told me she was going to speak to me about it later on, and that was it. That was the conversation we had."

News of Fake Dbee being the boyfriend of Pascaline Acheampong went rife after he made a series of posts expressing pain over the demise of the late SHS student.

The disclosure by the boy comes after the father of Pascaline Acheampong dismissed the assertions and claims that his daughter was having an amorous affair.

In a video, he explained that his daughter, with whom he shared a close bond, made no mention to him that she had a boyfriend.

It has now emerged that Pascaline was issued an exeat from her school to return home on medical grounds.

It, however, turned out that the teenager failed to head home

Pascaline's father, in an interview, then stated that it was upon learning of her daughter's whereabouts that he decided to get everyone at the location apprehended on suspicion of abduction.

He then explained that doctors, meanwhile, informed him that Pascaline had contracted a serious form of malaria.

Ghanaian TikToker and nursing student dies

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that the young Ghanaian TikToker, Colourwinner, had died.

Colourwinner was a final-year student at the Presbyterian Nursing and Midwifery Training School.
