In an interview with YEN.com.gh, Ghanaian journalist Stella Annan addressed the Ridge Hospital saga.

"This Ridge hospital situation has exposed an unfortunate situation in some government hospitals. In my view, both sides are partly at fault. When Ralph and his people got into the emergency ward, those in charge could have managed the situation in a way to de-escalate and prevent Ralph from ranting on social media. Ralph should have also exhibited a little more patience in dealing with the nurses," she said.

Annan also criticised the committee's report and said they should have done more to probe the alleged assault and also brokered a dialogue between the aggrieved parties to reach a negotiated settlement.

"The committee needed to do more to bring out the real facts of the matter so that the situation could be addressed, especially with the assault situation. The committee needs to probe further and sit both parties down to bring out the truth in the case so that such situations do not repeat themselves again, especially in our government hospitals." she added.
