Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo's rivalry has been long established since they both announced their presence as football revelations and big posterboys of their generation.
With eleven Ballon d'Or gongs shared between the pair, the Argentine and his Portuguese counterpart have broken several records, and there is no sign they are ready to draw down the curtain on their rivalry.
And of course, they are a few steps closer to 500-league goal run, leaving football enthusiasts on the wait for who will reach the milestone first between the Barcelona star and the Portuguese footie.
Ronaldo has been in outstanding form since the beginning of the new campaign, with his beaming brilliance helping Mauricio Sari's side lead the Serie A league with 51 points.

On the other hands, Lionel Messi has also been in a scintillating form for the Catalans this season scoring 16 goals with 6 assists.
Messi's lone goal, which helped Barcelona secure 3-point victory over Granada, means the Argentine is not only using his brilliance to paddle Barcelona on the league, he is La Liga's top scorer.
In summation, it also means Lionel Messi has scored 433 league goals in his career, 1 goal above Cristiano Ronaldo who has scored 432.
The Argentine and the Portuguese are now closer to 500-league goal but who reaches the milestone first is the question on the lips of fans.
