Barcelona scored 4-0 unreplied goals against Athletic Bilbao to win the Copa del Rey finals and land their first silverware of the season.
Lionel Messi scored a brace while Antoine Griezmann and Frenkie De Jong also got their names on the scoresheet to ease La Blaugrana's struggles this season.
After a goalless first half, Ronald Koeman's men came out smoking in the second as their pressure finally paid for Barca's first.
Right on the hour mark, Griezmann was at the near post for an easy tap-in courtesy of a low cross from Frenkie De Jong.
Barca doubled the advantage as provider turned goalscorer when the Dutch midfielder was assisted by Jordi Alba to make it 2-0 in the 63rd minute.
The pick of the bunch then came five minutes later as De Jong was involved in the build up to Messi's incredible goal.
The Argentine star started the move from his own half combining with De Jong twice before displacing his marker and finding the back of the net to make it 3-0.
Messi wrapped up the scoring in the 72nd minute as the usual suspect Alba also completed his brace of assists to make it 4-0.
Koeman will be breathing a huge sigh of relief as he lands his first trophy in his debut season at the Camp Nou.
Barca can now focus on la Liga after losing in El Clasico against Real Madrid last weekend as two points only separates them from league leaders Atletico Madrid.
Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh had earlier reported that Neymar will reportedly signa a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain after helping them reach their second straight Champions League semi finals, The Sun.
The 29-year-old revealed that he feels at home when playing for the Paris based side during the post-match interview.
The former Santos star who has been linked to rejoin Lionel Messi at Barcelona has just one year left on his £600,000-a-week contract.
