Semenyo scores and assists for Bournemouth
The 25-year-old has quickly become the heartbeat of Bournemouth’s attack this season.
On the opening weekend against Liverpool, he stunned fans with a brace despite his team’s defeat and suffering racial abuse.
A week later, he laid on the decisive pass for Marcus Tavernier, who secured victory over Wolves.
Although his streak briefly paused against Mohammed Kudus’ Tottenham Hotspur, he still played a role in the move that led to Evanilson’s winner.
Returning from international duty, he raised the tempo again, combining creative playmaking with clinical finishing to guide the Cherries to another important result.
Semenyo’s latest strike marked his third goal in four appearances, adding to his tally of two assists.

According to Squawka, Semenyo is the first player to be directly involved in five Premier League goals this season after his goal and assist helped the Cherries beat Brighton 2-1.
After the game, Semenyo admitted the victory was far from flawless.
“The manager reminded us during the week that we hadn’t beaten Brighton in a while,” he said.
“We had to approach it like we did against Tottenham. At times it was an ugly win, but a win nonetheless. It wasn’t our best, and like I said, it was pretty ugly! The manager predicted it might play out this way – and it did. But we still found a way to win, which is a great quality to show.”
He added: “The mood in the camp is perfect. Everyone is enjoying training, buzzing to play, and really happy. You can’t ask for more than that.”
The result lifts Andoni Iraola's men to third position (as at the time of writing), boasting nine points from four games.
With confidence soaring, Semenyo and his teammates now shift focus to their next game, a home match against Newcastle United on September 21, per Flashscore.

Semenyo's sparkling form arrives on the back of a solid contribution with Ghana, where he helped the Black Stars collect four points from two World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali.
Though he faced criticism for wasting gilt-edge chances in those fixtures, his relentless energy and involvement proved decisive for Ghana’s push toward next year's global showpiece.
