- Rihanna responded to a message from a social media user saying Ghanaians should be proud to have a Head of State like him

Superstar American artist and actress, Rihanna, has said that Ghanaians ought to be proud to have a Head of State like President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

It appears as though every time President Nana Akufo-Addo meets up with France's 40-year-old Head of State, he is bound to make an address that will get him a standing ovation.

This time around, it seems as though President Nana-Akufo Addo's speech at the International Education Summit in Dakar earned him quite the fan, and none other than the Barbadian singing and acting sensation, Rihanna.

Some time during the International Education Summit in Dakar, after President Akufo-Addo shook hands with Rihanna, a Ghanaian designer called Papa Oppong was proud of the moment and communicated as such to Rihanna in a random private chat via Instagram.

It appears that Rihanna was so moved by the President's comments that she responded to Oppong's message and said that the President was inspiring.

"Your President was so well spoken and inspiring! He shook the room! You should be proud!" wrote Rihanna.
