Rare photo showing when and how Ebony started her dreadlocks pops up
YEN.com.gh has sighted a photo of the late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns, which shows how she looked like before starting her dreadlocks journey.
Ebony looked ‘innocent’ in this photo with just one piercing on her lower lip.
The singer looked like the young girl she was until she finally grew her dreadlocks which gave her a ‘mature’ look.

After her death, many people were surprised to learn that she was just 20 years old, as she showed herself to be quite mature, both in her craft and her daily life.
By the time she became a household name in the music industry in 2015, Ebony was known as the young musician with dreadlocks.
She also had many tattoos and body piercings, all of which she happily loved to flaunt on her Instagram page.

Ebony had a total number of seventeen tattoos on her body, with the biggest being “The Star of David and Lord of the Wings” under her breasts.
She had other tattoos of her names, her sister’s name, and other designs at some other parts of her body.
Ebony hit the music scene with her debut single ‘Dancefloor’ in 2015; at that time, her dreadlocks had just started growing.
She followed up with ‘Kupe’ in 2016, and that was the song that shot her up to become a popular star.

Ebony later released ‘Sponsor’, ‘Date Ur Fada’, ‘Hustle’, ‘Maame Hw3’, and others, all of which are currently enjoying massive airplay.
She died in a gory accident on February 8, 2018, on the Sunyani-Kumasi Highway, when she was returning to Accra, after a visit to her mother and other relatives in Sunyani.
Her final funeral rites will be held at the forecourt of the State House on March 24, 2018.
