Social media user recounts how Asamoah Gyan made him 'rich' in UAE

-A Facebook user has recounted a bizarre encounter that made him rich overnight

-He revealed that because of his nationality and talent of Asamoah Gyan, he was given a lot of money

A Facebook user living in the United Arab Emirates, has recounted a story of how he became very rich after an encounter with a foreigner in Abu Dhabi just because he was a Ghanaian just like Asamoah Gyan.

According to the Osikani Kojo Serebour who apparently works in the UAE, he met an Arabic man and they started a conversation.

The foreigner, upon hearing that Osikani Kojo Serebour was a Ghanaian, pulled out his wallet and willing offered to give out a huge sum of money to him because of Asamoah Gyan.

According to the Arab man, Asamoah Gyan became his ‘cash cow’ when his goal-scoring abilities made him win a bet of 1 million Dirham during the Ghanaian's time at Al Ain.

According to the foreigner, he made a bet with his friends that Asamoah Gyan was going to score two goals in the first half and another goal in the second half.

To the amazement of everyone, the Ghanaian international player did just that and made the Arab man a rich man instantly.

Recounting the issue, Osikani Kojo Serebour said he was reluctant to take the money but eventually accepted the ‘free money’ from the foreigner.

He went on to thank the captain of the Black Stars for making him reap the fruits of his matchless talent.

Osikani Kojo Serebour added that it was rather unfortunate that the Ghanaian international footballer was not being celebrated in his own country like how the Arab man he had met was passionate about the player.
