All the dresses that caught everyone at the VGMA by surprise
The 19th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards took place at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, April 14, 2018.
Predictably, it attracted personalities from all walks of life, who came to bear witness to the celebration of talented people in Ghana’s music industry.
Aside the fun, the surprises and the awards, was the question of unique outside that were worn on the night of the event. YEN.com.gh brings to you 7 weird dresses which were seen that night:
1. Kuami Eugene:
The fast rising musician was mocked for his choice of clothes, which compelled one social media user to describe him as a student going for vacation classes.

2. Samini:
Samini was the toast of fans that night. He took home the Reggae Dancehall Song of the Year (My Own). His shoes, however, were a focal point of comedy as fans likened it to that of a Pito seller.
3. Obour:
Social media users were convinced that the shirt worn by Obour, the president of the Musicians Union of Ghana, was akin to a parachute.
4. Kumi Guitar:
Kumi Guitar's trouser appeared to have a bulge at one side. Could he have been hiding a guitar there?, fans wondered.
5. Efya:
Efya's kente-like outfit matched with her long boots had social media users talking. Of particular concern was her hips, as there were rumours that something had caused it to expand.
6. Kofi Kinaata:
There were concerns expressed about Kofi Kinaata's wellbeing, as designs in his outfit resembled lightening bolts. How could you have such bolts all over your body and appear unconcerned?
7. Supt. Kofi Sarpong and Kalybos:
All seemed well with this photo, until some eyes caught a flowery design on the shoes of the policeman. What could that be?
There were a lot more. Several others came in outfits that raised eyebrows:
