Mzbel denies dating a 17-year-old singer, Miyaki
- Mzbel has said she is not dating singer Miyaki
- There had been reports that the 38-year-old songstress was dating the young singer when a Snapchat video of her with and the 17-year-old in a bedroom surfaced online
- But Mzbel has explained that Miyaki is only a friend to her son and came to their house
Songstress Mzbel has denied reports that she is dating a 17-year-old singer called Miyaki.
According to her, the reports, as being speculated, were 'never true' as Miyaki is only a friend to her son, John, who is also 17 years old.
There were reports earlier this week that the '16 Years' hitmaker was having an affair with the young man.

This followed a Snapchat video of them goofing and playing around like lovers in a setting which looked like a bedroom.
Explaining the reason why she is that close to her son's friend, Mzbel stated that she personally requested that Miyaki become his son's friend after she met the rising star at a studio.
Miyaki, she continued, has since been coming to her house most of the time to hang out with John.
"On that particular day, I was busy so I couldn’t attend to him when he came home so he came to my room (bedroom) together with my son and I decided to take a snap with him. That’s all but there’s nothing serious going on between us,” she insisted.

Mzbel further disclosed that but for the fact that the reports of her dating Miyaki were causing her some problems at home, she would not have responded.
“I think I have to clear the air because it has caused me a lot of problems domestically since it came out. I just want people to know that there is nothing going,” she said.
While 38-year-old Mzbel is a well-known music artiste for over about 15 years now, Miyaki is an upcoming artiste who is signed to the VVIP’s Vision Music Group label.
He is best remembered for featuring on the VVIP’s recent single ‘Koliko’.
