My social media followers reduced in number when I became a Christian - Yaw Siki

- Former hiplife musician, Yaw Siki, has bemoaned a fall in his social media followers following his conversion to Christianity

- According to him, it is regrettable because he wished to preach the Word of God to them

Former hip-life artiste, Isaac Okai, better known as Yaw Siki, has spoken about how his social media followers dropped following his conversion to Christianity.

According to a report by 3news.com, the man of God revealed that it has become a burden on him.

He explained that he wished to ensure that his repentance reflects on them as well, but that was not the case.

“God has saved me from the pit of death and I had wanted to reach out to my numerous followers on social media with the word of God, but it turned otherwise; however the few that remained and believed in my calling have been affected positively.”, he said.

He went on to say that the situation has not in any way dimmed his desire to preach the Word of God, but instead, he is empowered to push hard in order to fulfill his calling.

To him, he usually preaches at lorry stations and other places with huge groups of people.

Yaw Siki, giving his life testimony on Testimony Hour Show on Onua FM, expressed regret about his past life, and admonished the youth especially those struggling to do secular music to shelve the idea.

In the year 2013, he survived an accident on the Accra-Tema motorway, and has since switched from secular to Gospel songs.
