The outspoken entertainer maintained that it makes no sense to spend huge sums of money on a dress just for a day when the same amount can be used for something profitable.

She however admitted that it is important to look for high profile programmes such as the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), but stressed that there was the need to exercise restraint.

The Hot Fork actress further stated that red carpet hosts do not question the cost of outfits celebrities wear to events, so it becomes worrying when her colleagues spend their life savings on fabrics for the event but later go home to cry.

She therefore counselled slay queens not to borrow clothes for events just to look flashy because several rich women who can afford expensive outfits are at their ‘one corner.’
