A video of actress and model, Juliet Ibrahim, dancing to ‘Hey Mami', by Wale Turner, has generated unexpected reactions on social media.
The versatile screen icon shared a video of herself showing her dancing skills to match the rhythm of the song. This however did little to impress social media users.
The dance, she wrote, was to show her appreciation for votes casted in a competition. Her fans were not fascinated:
@vickie_eyinna revealed that: "1 could succeed making my mum laugh until she saw you and your shaku shaku dance✌"
@yizzy01 noted that Juliet "You just want to trend like @genevievennaji. And must you copy? By the way, go hit the gym and dress classy next time"
@quarme.o expressed concern, saying "Uhmm ...dance lessons need to be considered ASAP " and @umorenelizabeth added: "Lols maami, ur shaku shaku is like my shaku shaku. Half baked"
Juliet Ibrahim won the Best Actress in a Leading Role award at the 2010 Ghana Movie Awards for her role in 4 Play.
She has been referred to as the "Most Beautiful West African Woman" by A-listers Magazine.
