Popular Nigerian musician, David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by the stage name Davido, has advised his friend, Ibrah One, not to mention his name again following allegations of the latter being accused of money laundering.
Ibrah One, born Ibrahim Daouda, has become ‘notorious’ for mentioning names of popular people in and outside the country and asking them to make ‘confessions’.
However, in his recent name-calling spree, Ibrah One mention the name of the ‘If’ singer and the Nigerian act has not taken kindly to it at all.
Ibrah, in one of his Snapchat posts revealed that, “TEKNO and Davido, where you people if after 10min they don’t post we the street boys are ur followers after 1hr if all the celebrities did not post. Jst msge me. I wilt tel them there is GOD.”
In a quick rebuttal and without mincing words, Davido indicated that the Ghanaian millionaire was running 'mad' and warned the Ghanaian not to involve him in his ‘issues’
Davido’s Snapchat post read, “This IBRAH don kolo sha…abeg no put my name for ur matter.. na flog we go flog you.”
It has been alleged that Nigerian artistes Davido and Tekno are very good friends of Ibrah One. When Davido arrived in Ghana for Ghana Meets Naija in 2017, it was Ibrah who purportedly picked him up from the airport.
Reports have it that anytime Ibrah One visited Nigeria, he spent time with Davido and Tekno; an indication of an established friendship.
Ibrah One has been in the news for a number of days owing to an allegation that he was arrested by the BNI and officials from Interpol for money laundering.
He however came out to say that he was not arrested but rather spent the day at Pergola Spa. He added that he faked the arrest to test the loyalty of his close friends.
