Ghanaian female celebrities who have indicated they are looking for love
It is hard to find anyone familiar with local Ghanaian parlance and not understand what "gnashing" means. Of course, with standard English language, appreciation of "gnashing" is very different from it means in local parlance.
When "gnashing" is used especially in pidgin Ghanaian English, it is in reference to a situation where someone who is looking for a lover is not succeeding in their search.
YEN.com.gh compiles a list of female celebrities who have in the recent past, made public statements on their love lives and how they do not have partners.

1. Deloris "Delay"Frimpong-Manso
The celebrated media personality is known as an outspoken and to many, fearless personality. Delay has been noted as one of the best interviewers on TV from the way she gets her guests to touch on issues they would otherwise not.
In a story we carried recently, Delay blamed her status as a single woman on the fact that there are too many misconceptions about her. By that logic, it is safe to assume that if she gets a man who can transcend the rumours, Delay might just give in.
2. Xandy Kamel
Xandy Kamel has earned her popularity from acting as well as pushing across controversial talking points. Kamel is the daughter of a former Ghanaian minister who is now of blessed memory.
She has been explicit in her search for love. The actress even posted on Instagram a while ago that she hoped men would approach her on social media if they thought they liked her.
3. Gloria Sarfo
Sarfo is also an actress. She is one of the few Ghanaian actresses who has been able to act seamlessly in Kumawood and English-language films in Ghana.
YEN.com.gh carried a story about the actress who said although she intends to settle down as a wife, she is taking her time with her choice and decision. Sarfo was of the view that if the person and time is right, she will walk down the aisle.

4. Martha Ankomah
Previously thought to be an easy-going and free-minded young woman, actress Martha Ankomah has shown up a very strong Christian woman.
Recently, Ankomah opened up to a media outlet that she was single. And what will thrill most people is that she is totally opened to having a man in her life now provided he was God-fearing.
