GHC4m Menzgold cash Afia Schwar is fighting over is for her boyfriend's mum - Lady claims

Controversial on-air-personality Afia Schwarzenegger has been on the neck of Menzgold boss, Nana Appiah Mensah over the troubles of the investment firm.

In a series of social media posts since the Securities and Exchanges Commission ordered Menzgold's shutdown, Afia Schwar has claimed that her mother had invested over four million Ghana Cedis with the firm and has been left worried.

Not wanting a disastrous outcome, Afia Schwar had been pestering Nana Appiah who is popularly known as NAM 1 to refund her mother's money.

But it looks like Afia Schwar might have not been telling the whole truth about the situation and has been exposed by an Instagram user over her rants about her mother's supposed investment.

According to the Instagram user @maame_dora, Afia Schwarzenegger’s mother is a very poor woman who cannot boast of even Ghc500 in her bank account and that the Ghc4.3 million investment Afia is ranting about is not for her poor mother.

She revealed that Afia’s mother has no investment with Menzgold but rather, it’s Afia Schwarzenegger’s 18-year-old boyfriend’s mother who has such an investment with Menzgold.

“Why don’t you tell people is ur 18yrs boyfriend who’s mum money is there not ur mum wai does ur mum have 500 cides in her account… foolish girl ur wish to have Nam in family.. stupid girl always talking. God punish u ," the Instagram user commenting on one of Afia’s recent posts on Instagram concerning the matter revealed.

Interestingly, Afia Schwar responded to the lady's claim but did not deny it except to suggest that the lady was interested in the man she was referring to.

Meanwhile, a popular journalist and newscaster, Israel Laryea has defended himself against insults from NAM 1.

According to the Joy FM/TV presenter, it is highly unnecessary for NAM 1 to attack him instead of focusing on solving problems concerning Menzgold Ghana.

His comment follows an attack on his personality by NAM 1 on Instagram over Laryea's video report concerning the activities of Menzgold in London which has gone viral.
