Toyota Ghana Company Limited (TGCL) was incorporated in Ghana in January 1998 through the investment of Marubeni Corporation, a Japan and Marubeni Auto Europe S.A, Belgium. The company’s business activities started in April same year.
In 2008, Marubeni became the sole shareholder of the company. TGCL is the sole distributor of Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan. The prime activities are the sale of new Toyota vehicles and Spare parts; and the After-sales service support.
