My dog connected me to my wife – Captain Planet on Uche Ofodile

Musician Captain Planet of 4X4 fame has revealed that he got his MTN CEO wife by the help of a dog.

The musician said it was the dog that connected him to Uche Ofodile, his wife who is currently the CEO of MTN in Liberia.

Captain Planet was reportedly speaking in an interview with Hitz FM.

In a narration, the dog, which his wife owned before their marriage, was always excited when he visited her.

He added that the dog was very protective of him, indicating that he saw that as a sign that Uche was meant for him.

He was quoted to have said: “My dog connected me to my wife, the excitement of the dog, whenever I went to her house, was overwhelming, the dog followed me where ever I went, it was very protective of me” he disclosed.

“Gradually the dog became mine and everything continued from there. Whenever we fought it hide under the bed, when I get childish and resort to a different room it slept with me, it was always with me”, Captain added.

The marriage story of musician Captain Planet of 4X4 fame and his wife Uche Ofodile, has been much-talked about in the media.

In a more recent news, controversial counsellor Lutterdot claimed that Captain Planet married Uche because of her money and not love.

He described their marriage as “entrepreneurship”, in which Captain Planet was for financial opportunities.

He claimed that Captain Planet’s entire life was tied to the apron of Uche, and so he dared not disrespect her otherwise he would face dire consequences.

Lutterdot further asserted that there was no love in Captain Planet and Uche’s marriage, adding that the musician was only enjoying the body of the MTN CEO.

Captain Planet and the Liberia MTN CEO got married on June 20th, 2014. They were captured at many events together prior to and after their marriage.

Captain Planet even mentioned Uche's name in some of his song when he was part of the 4X4 group.
