NAM1's mother and sister allegedly arrest loyal customer of Menzgold

The mother and sister of embattled Menzgold boss Nana Appiah Mensah are alleged to have arrested a loyal customer of Menzgold over a misunderstanding concerning two cars they intended purchasing.

In a report cited on Browngh.com by YEN.com.gh, NAM1's mother whose name was given as Eve Brew and sister, Abigail Mensah, reportedly contacted the car dealer to purchase 2018 models of Range Rover and Maserrati respectively.

The car dealer whose name is not known at the moment is said to be a long time business associate of NAM1 and his family as well as a loyal Menzgold customer who supposedly has his money locked up at Menzgold like other Ghanaians.

Reports from the car dealer purportedly revealed that he (the car dealer) told NAM1's mother and sister that he did not have the 2018 Range Rover and Maserrati models but can order from another car dealer abroad; which they agreed to and paid accordingly.

After the payment, the car dealer then ordered and paid for the respective cars from Europe which were supposed to be shipped into Ghana and consequently released to NAM1's mother and sister.

According to the car dealer, while they were all waiting for the ordered cars to be shipped, Madam Eve Brew (mother of NAM1) and Abigail Mensah (sister of NAM1) called to say that they were no more interested in purchasing the cars, thus want the money they paid to be returned.

In response, the car dealer said he had already ordered and paid for the cars so it was impossible to abrogate the contract and take back the money, thus the only way was to have the cars imported, sell to other buyers and pay back their monies.

This suggestion by the car dealer did not go down well with NAM1's mother and sister. In reaction, Madam Eve Brew and Abigail Mensah reportedly called for the arrest of the car dealer while the three were having a meeting over the issue.

The car dealer was allegedly sent to the Greater Accra Regional Police station where NAM1's mother and sister had lodged a complain about the issue.
