Owusu Bempah prophecies for 2018 that failed to manifest
Before the start of 2018, many prophets predicted, what they said would be the major happenings in the country in the coming 12 months.
Prominent among such prophets was the founder and leader of Glorious Word Ministry International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, who made a plethora of predictions.
Owusu Bempah has come to be known for his often 'doom prophecies' which he makes on the last day of every year and December 31, 2017 was no different.
With just a few hours to end the year, YEN.com.gh brings you the prophecies Owusu Bempah made for 2018 which have failed to manifest.
1. Ghana will bury a first lady:
He prophesied that one of Ghana’s first ladies will be buried in 2018 if Ghanaians did not intercede for them.
“There are some people we call first ladies and these people are the wives of the first gentlemen that is the President of the Nation. If we don’t pray, this year, Ghana will bury a first lady.”
But so far, all of Ghana's former first ladies namely, Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings, Theresa Kufuor, Naadu Mills, and Lordina Mahama are known to be sound and safe.
2. Another big funeral in the Ashanti Region:
This prophecy was made with the late Asantehemaa, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II's funeral in 2017 as the yardstick.
But there was no funeral of that calibre in the region in 2018.
Kofi Annan is known to have grown up in Kumasi and is considered by the Asantehene, Otumfour Osei Tutu II as a special person but even that funeral was held in Accra.
3. Sudden death at the presidency:
Owusu Bempah prophesied that sudden death may occur at the presidency in 2018.
But just like his prediction of a coup d'etat in 2017 failed tlo come to pass, no death occurred at the presidency.
The closest this prophecy came to manifesting was the vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia falling sick and flying to London for a break.
4. An influential man of God will die:
Owusu Bempah predicted that a popular and influential 'man of God' will die and it will shock the nation.
Looking through 2018 there was no such death of a so popular pastor as predicted.
5. Death of another big media personality:
This prophecy was made on the back of KABA's death in November 2017.
Though there were many deaths in the media including Alhaji Bature, UTV's Mavis Animah Yeboah, Atinka Group's Francis Sasu, among others, none of them were as big as KABA.
