Family of dead Ghana Water employee say shooting was contract killing
The family of the late Joseph Miigai Jakperuk, a senior staff of the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) who was murdered by unknown assailants, say they suspect foul play in his death.
Jakperuk was on his way to his hometown when the most unfortunate happened. Now, his family says they believe his death was as a result of a contract killing.
MyNewsGh.com reports that in an interview with some members of Jakperuk's family, it was put across that the circumstances surrounding the death of the deputy Distribution Manager of Accra East Region leaves much to be desired.
An initial explanation of armed robbery is not sitting well with the family. They are therefore not ruling out the possibility of contract killing of their relation.
