Top Kumawood actor Akwasi Boadi, commonly known as Akrobeto, has revealed the secret to his relevance and longevity in the entertainment industry.

Akrobeto has long been an actor since the days of Keysoap Concert party in the early 90s.

But unlike his many colleagues who are nowhere to be found now, Akrobeto is still an actor.

Revealing what his secret was, the comic actor said it is all about humility.

He explained that humility takes one far, as well as helps the one to receive more favours.

The actor who is reportedly 58 years said he is easy going and shows humility to anyone whether young or old, rich or poor.

He stated, for example, that he comfortably sleeps in hotels his other colleagues complain of whenever they were shooting movies.

Akrobeto added that he accepts and eats any food given him on set without grumbling when his other colleagues felt pompous and complained.

Above all, the affable actor said his spiritual father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo, had long advised him to be humble, an advice which had stuck with him all these years.

“If you are not humble no one will want to work with you and humility has always been my hallmark. I eat any food I am given on set and sleep comfortably in hotels some of my colleagues complain about,” Akrobeto reportedly said.

My spiritual father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo, always told me to be humble and the advice he gave me about 40 years ago has brought me where I am now,” he disclosed.

He added that even if he had to walk off set for being disrespected by an annoying movie producer, he stayed, unlike some of his colleagues, stressing that he is very tolerable.

Touching on the wealth he has amassed so far, Akrobeto said he owned 2 storey-buildings – one in Accra and the other in Kumasi, of eight rooms each totaling 16 rooms in all.

He disclosed further that he uses four cars: Toyota Venza, Honda Crosstour, Toyota Corolla and a Kantanka car so he is very comfortable.

The veteran actor currently works with UTV as a comic newscaster.
