I stopped attending SDA because of my earrings - Actress Ellen White

- She claimed the need to wear earrings in movies led to her decision to backslide

- Ellen Whyte admitted that she still admires the SDA church but finds it difficult to stop wearing earrings

Popular Kumawood actress Ellen White has revealed reasons why she stopped going to the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

According to the actress, the decision to wear earrings which is prohibited in the SDA church is the main reason why she stopped going to her church.

In an interview that was sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Instagram page of UTV Ghana, Ellen White expressed regret in quitting the SDA church.

When asked by Nana Ama McBrown why she wears earrings now, she answered "If you are acting movies they worry you to wear earrings and now I am unable to stop."

"I have stopped but it is a church that if you stop, you still have some feeling for it so I will love to go back but the how to stop wearing the earring is my problem," she added.

Ellen Whyte's comment followed questions asked her by host of the McBrown Cook Show, Nana Ama McBrown.
